Anki is a spaced repetition piece of software, it helps you remember what you’ve learned, forever. Anki is a flashcard-based program that uses spaced repetition to reinforce learning. It really works.
The point of Anki is that makes your learning more efficient. Easy flashcards are reviewed less often than harder ones and therefore Anki makes you focus on your mistakes and the more difficult aspects of your study.
The Anki algorithm automatically makes you review your cards when you need to to avoid forgetting them. The other benefit of digital flaschards is that they are easier to make, either by yourself, or buy downloading from sites such as this.
Mindful Chess was founded in 2015 with the goal to improve access to chess teaching for students across London. We started off teaching a single group of 12 students once a week. Through schools and parents sharing information about our unique approach, our program has grown to now teach over 500 students a week in schools all across the UK. As well as our group lessons, we've recognised how productive 1:1 sessions are for adults and children. We now teach individuals ranging from the age of 4 to 104 across 3 different continents. teach children ages from 5+ and adults keen to learn or looking to get a new perspective on their game.
